Medilab’s Customer Service Department is always available to answer enquires regarding patients results. This may concern both urgent and routine enquires.
Patients and health service providers can have their results in a predetermined manner either by email, fax or printed.
Results are emailed in encrypted format following authorization.
Results if authorised are auto faxed as soon as they are completed.
Hard copy results can either be collected from the reception or posted directly to the customer.
Only critical results are telephoned to attending physician from the moment they are detected.

Reports transferred to a remote computer as text files to integrated health service providers. Dedicated software that accepts data in HL7 format can be linked to receive results.

Medilab will accept test order requisitions in any format created by the physician or the client computer system. Such requisitions must include client information, complete patient demographics, test orders, and billing information as required for accurate accessing and billing.
In order to facilitate special associates in test ordering, Medilab offers Optical Character Recognition (OCR) forms with a test directory categorized per laboratory discipline, customized according to our clients needs. This way we can import test orders and sender’s details, as well as patient’s demographics automatically, thus minimizing preanalytical errors.
